Ways of Working

I love hearing about different artist's creative processes. Actors, musicians... you just never know where you'll pick up a tip for your own work.

Have you ever watched Inside the Actors Studio? Interesting insights for creating story characters. And last week while running errands I caught this piece from Project Song on NPR, about one musician's songwriting process. Enjoy!

I love inside the actor's studio Jennifer! It's a great show.

I find so interesting the way actors and directors work and the way they see or approach a role. I find it funny that actors are mostly very shy (I love that by the way.. I'm shy and I like shy people :o) and this show gives you an opportunity to really know a bit more about them. Don't you like the questionnaire he gives them at the end? I always think I'm not sure what to answer if someone ever asked me that. :o)

Alicia- I'm glad you like the show. I think a lot of all kinds of artists tend to be shy, or at least introverted. (I am, too! And isn't it funny how it's hard to tell that from people's blogs...:-)

Yes, that questionnaire is the best. I'd have a hard time deciding what to answer. It changes all the time!

He, he you are right about it being hard to tell that from people's blogs. I guess this blogging thing makes it easy to communicate for us introverted types ;o)
